The head coach Vinko Marinović commented on the health status of the team:

“All the players we can count on have come and are healthy, which makes us happy. Previously, Ćatić and Maksimović had injuries, so we will not be able to count on them. We invited the junior team player, Gabrijel Čok, so we’ll check him as well. We always follow the younger players from the youth national teams, and we will continue to do so in the future.”

Young Dragons begin preparations for qualifying match with the U-21 team of Germany, about which Marinović says:

“The German U-21 team is the favourite in this group and it is the team from the top of European football. Their results say enough about them. It will also be a good check for us, as was the match with Belgium. Once again, we will see what our possibilities are. We believe that the players will also be maximally motivated, so we will see what that will bring us in the end.”
