U-21: Goalless Draw at Grbavica

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s national under-21 team drew today with Slovenia 0:0 at the Grbavica stadium in Sarajevo, in their fifth match of the Euro 2027 qualifiers.

The first half passed without many chances on either side, with Anes Krdžalić coming closest when he struck the crossbar from distance. In the second half, Krdžalić, Aldin Mešić, Arjan Malić, and Nermin Mujkić all had good attempts, but the net remained untouched.

Our team finished with ten men after Malić received a second yellow card in stoppage time.

Head coach Branislav Krunić’s lineup: Mladen Jurkas, Nedim Keranović (69' Albin Omić), Eman Košpo, Amar Ibrišimović, Anes Krdžalić, Arjan Malić, Emin Kujović, Filip Taraba, Aldin Mešić, Matej Deket (59' Hamza Jaganjac), Muhamed Buljubašić (69' Nermin Mujkić).

The match was attended by national “A” team head coach Sergej Barbarez and director Emir Spahić.

The next qualifier for the Bosnia and Herzegovina U-21 team will be against Israel in Budaörs, Hungary, on March 31 at 17:00.
