Coach Vinko Marinović shared his plans for the team's preparations and the challenges they’re about to face: "We’ll try to make the best use of this time, as we have many new players on the team. Even though the period is short, we’ll work intensively. Motivation is always present when playing for the national team, so I don’t expect any issues in that regard. Our goal is to create a team full of energy. We’ve analyzed both opponents, and it’s clear they are good teams. We’re focused on the first game, fully aware of the tough challenges ahead. Currently we’re waiting for everyone to arrive, albeit we have two injured players, Božičković and Buljubašić, who play in the same position as defensive midfielders. Tomorrow, we should have a full lineup."
