We know it's going to be a tough challenge, but the fact that we had more time for preparations this time is certainly in our favor. The coach has brought in several younger players, which brings new energy to the team, even though it takes a bit of time to adjust. The team is coming together more and more."

Damjanović added: "In the previous matches, especially against France, we proved that we can compete with teams that are, on paper, much stronger. That gives us extra confidence; I believe that with good preparation and team spirit, we can achieve a positive result against Cyprus, and I’m hopeful for the best outcome."
