Kovačević believes that this generation of players can qualify to a big competition:

“This team has yet to be played and this gathering will help us getting closer to a certain desired level, so to provide quality games like the previous generation. I’m sorry that we did not manage to qualify to the European Championship through the just-completed qualifying cycle, but I hope that this generation will make this step.”

The talented goalkeeper says on the forthcoming match:

“This is our first gathering, and regarding that, the match with Azerbaijan will be demanding. Still, I think we are a good team. We are in good form; players are standard in their clubs. I believe there will be no problems and we will win in this match.”

Vladan Kovačević is also satisfied with the performances in the club:

“We are first-ranked in the table and we want to stay there. I have had a support from the team since my first days when I stand on the goal. I hope we will continue with victories and win the country’s champions title.”
