In the upcoming matches, the head coach Slobodan Starčević cannot count on Belmin Mešinović, who is positive for the coronavirus, as well as the coach Mario Ivanković.
About the work in the camp and the next opponent, the coach in the technical staff of the young national team, Admir Raščić, says:
“Preparations are going well, but today we were disturbed by the fact that after PCR testing, Mešinović and my colleague Ivankovic were positive. We will certainly miss them at this gathering. In addition, the work of the players in training sessions is to be commended and we can hardly wait for the matches. The Irish will play against us for the first time with a new head coach, but we watched their previous matches and we can say that the opponents are well scouted and that we will know how to stand against them.”
Defender Đorđe Milojević said:
“We are in the camp for the third day, we are maximally focused on training sessions and we can hardly wait for the match with Ireland. There are a lot of players from previous gatherings, so we all know each other very well. In the Training Centre, we have all the conditions to prepare as much as possible for the upcoming matches. Ireland is a good and compact team. We know what their strengths and weaknesses are, so it is up to us to give our maximum, in order to achieve the best possible result and welcome Sweden in Zenica in an even better atmosphere.”
Until the match with the Republic of Ireland, Slobodan Starčević’s team will do another training session tomorrow. The match is scheduled for 3rd September at 16:30 h at the BH FF Training Centre in Zenica.
