Young Dragons better than Belgium

We have quality players

The young national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina started gathering and preparations for the matches with Wales and Moldova yesterday, and today all the players, who were absent yesterday due to club matches, came.

The assistant coach in the U-21 national team, Haris Alihodžić, believes that the team has quality:

“Very important matches await us. Yesterday we were not complete, but today all the players who had games last night arrived. I’m sorry that we can’t count on all the national team players who were at the previous gatherings. It is sure to bring us extra quality. Regardless, we have quality footballers at our disposal and I believe they will respond to the task in the best way. We expect favourable results, and those are the victories against Wales and Moldova.”

Defender Rijad Sadiku expects the team to give its maximum against Wales:

“All the players arrived today and now we are complete. Everyone is healthy and ready, which is the most important thing. We follow the precautions against the COVID-19 virus. We are preparing for the match against Wales, which has a solid and aggressive team. Therefore, we must be like that, but we need to outwit and outplay them. As in every game, we have to do our best and show why we are the national team players and why we are the best. We miss some players, because of the situation with COVID, but it is an opportunity for others to prove themselves and show what they can do.”

Wing striker Milan Savić said:

“We have an excellent, compact team and we are preparing in a good atmosphere. We have good communication with each other, but also with the head coach and his assistants. We have a match with Wales next. Of course, we are going to win. I am glad that I received the invitation and that I will be among the best U-21 players in B&H.”
