After the match, the head coach Slobodan Starčević did not hide his satisfaction with the victory:

“What we did in the past ten days of preparations, we have successfully transferred to the pitch today. We were aware of whom we have as an opponent and we respected the national team of Belgium, which is one of the best teams at this age. However, these guys have shown that Bosnia and Herzegovina also has quality players and a quality team. In addition, we had ten players saying goodbye to the U-21 national team at this gathering, but there are also ten of them who are younger and we will still be able to count on them. I am glad that both of them have shown that they are of high quality, and I hope that they will also compete for the “A” national team in the coming period.”

Starčević added:
