This attacker is optimistic before the beginning of the competition:

“We used the previous days in Zenica in the best way and we are ready to wait for the start of the tournament. We have great expectations on this EURO. I hope we can make the placement among the top five teams and thus qualify for the World Cup.”

Despite the high ambitions on the EURO U-17, Stanić points out that the team is focused on its first match:

“We need to think about the first opponent at this moment, and that is Denmark. I believe we can repeat the result from the match against them in the elite qualifying round, when we won 1:0. I believe we are a better team than them and we will show it on Saturday.”
