Midfielder Vladan Danilović says about the preparations:
“A great atmosphere prevails in the team. We are slowly approaching the match and doing our best during the training sessions. If we bring this atmosphere and work from the training sessions to the match, I think we can rightly hope to win. We analysed the last match we lost of Germany and learned good lessons that can mean a lot to us in the match against Wales.”
Danilović stresses the importance of the next match:
“Although we are in the early stages of the qualifying cycle, this match can be a big turning point to qualify for the EURO. They play at home and are certainly under the imperative of victory, as they were defeated by Moldova in their last match. We will try to take advantage of the pressure they have and their weaknesses, which we saw, to return home with full prey, and to make it easier for us to continue our qualifications.”
The Young Dragons will be preparing in Sarajevo until 17th November, when they will depart for Wrexham, where a match with Wales will be played on 19.11.2019.
