First place for Lokomotiva in the tournament in Brčko

Young Dragons gathered

The U-21 team of Bosnia and Herzegovina gathered at the FF BH Training Centre in Zenica today and started preparations for a friendly match with Malta.

Prior to today’s training, the media representatives were addressed by the head coach Vinko Marinović and the national team player Zinedin Mustedanagić.

The head coach says on the squad:

“From the players we invited, Besim Šerbečić will join us tonight, while Nardin Mulahusejnović will come later, because his team is playing in the final of the Slovenian Cup. We will not be able to count on Anel Šabanadžović, Mateo Marić and Stefan Kovač, so we subsequently invited Mato Stanić from Široki Brijeg and Jovan Motika from Radnik.”

Marinović added:

“All players will have the opportunity to show what they know. We will give playing time to the players who have so far played less. We will play against a team of which we are better, but we have to confirm it on the field too. It will be a good opportunity for players to draw attention to themselves and show that we can count on them in qualifications.”

Mustedanagić believes that the match with Malta will be a great preparation for qualifying matches:

“There are enough new guys in the team. We have a few days to get to know and prepare for the match with Malta. We want to play this match as better as possible and get ready for what we are waiting for in September and October, which are qualifications. The group is tough, but we will go from match to match and we will do our best to make the best possible result.”

The players will be preparing in Zenica until 2nd June, when it is planned to depart for Malta.
