BH female seniors defeated by Denmark

The women’s “A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina was defeated tonight in Viborg by Denmark with 8:0 in the qualifying match for the 2023 World Cup.

The match was played in front of the full stands of the Viborg Stadium, and Signe Bruun was in a special mood for the game in the first half, scoring four goals in the 7th, 27th, 35th and 39th minute. Bosnia and Herzegovina threatened in the 45th minute when, after a cross by Amela Kršo from a free kick from the middle of the field, Melisa Hasanbegović sent the ball past the goal from the five-meter area.

The home team had the initiative in the continuation, and Brun scored another goal in the 58th minute. Mille Gale scored the sixth goal for Denmark in the 65th minute, and our national team had a great opportunity in the 75th minute. Jelena Koprena crossed from a free kick, and the ball came in the crowd in the five-meter area to Ana Bojanić who was not precise. Pernille Harder scored for 7:0 in the 80th minute, and the final result was set by Sara Andersen in the 90th minute.

The next qualifying match of She-Dragons will be played against Russia on 26th October at 14:00 h at the BH FF Training Centre in Zenica.
