Tijana Filipović scored for the away team in the 5th minute, but the goal was disallowed after a VAR check due to a handball. In the 20th minute, Dajana Spasojević made a great run down the left and sent a cross into the box for Emina Ekić, who scored for 1:0. Serbia equalized in the 28th minute when Tyla Jay Vlajnić took a free kick from the right, and Nina Matejić rose highest to head the ball past our Almina Hodžić.
In the second half, Ekić had the first serious attempt from distance in the 51st minute, but goalkeeper Milica Kostić tipped it out for a corner. Spasojević delivered the corner, and in the scramble, Milena Nikolić was quickest, sending the ball into the net for 2:1. Serbia had another chance in the 75th minute when Allegra Poljak hit the crossbar from around ten meters out. The visitors found the equalizer again in the 87th minute via Vesna Milivojević.
The return leg is scheduled for October 29 at 7:00 PM in Stara Pazova.
