Marija Ana Milinković recounts her first impressions and how she was accepted in the new club with a smile:
“The feeling that accompanies me these days is phenomenal. My dreams are coming true, this is what I dreamed about and worked hard for all these years. Being part of the biggest club in Europe is a big deal. I am delighted with how I was accepted by my new teammates as well as the entire Inter administration. I must emphasize that it is a great relief that my Maja Jelčić is here, who is, first of all, a good friend of mine, and only then a colleague from the club and the national team. I really like the Italian language and I will try to learn it as soon as possible, although the whole team is understanding and I have no problems in communication.”
Have you already started training and when do you expect the opportunity to make your debut?
“Training sessions are more demanding, which is what I expected. Of course, that suits me, because only with hard and dedicated work can I learn a lot and progress. I will try to justify my expectations as well as the expectations of all those who are always with me. SFK is my club, it will always be in my heart and I would like to be their best ambassador. I still don’t know when I could get the chance to make my debut, it depends on the coach, I hope it will be soon, but I just arrived and there will be an opportunity to show everything I know.”
Are you thinking about the upcoming play-off matches?
“Certainly, Sweden is a very good team and those two-leg matches will be a great experience for us. I am sure that we will do everything to provide the best possible game and confirm that we are not here by accident. I think that we have already made a great result, but there is no giving up and we should use every opportunity that is given to us to go one step further.”
