She-Dragons ready for Malta

The women’s “A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will play its sixth match in the qualifications for the 2023 World Cup tomorrow at 13:00 h in the BH FF Training Centre in Zenica against Malta.

The head coach Samira Hurem said before the match:

“We expect a victory against Malta. We were a better team against them away and we must not make mistakes like then, when we dropped the victory in the additional time. The opponent has its own quality and they play very well in defence. We hope that the conditions for the game will be good, that we will have a quality performance and win three points.”

Captain Milena Nikolić thinks similarly:

“After a very difficult match with Denmark, tomorrow we will meet Malta, which is also an awkward team. They showed that in our previous match. We used the period after Denmark first to rest, and in these two days we are maximally preparing for tomorrow’s match. We expect to win the first 3 points in these qualifications, to show the best possible game and I hope that the weather conditions will allow us to do that.”

B&H and Malta met in these qualifiers on 21st September and that match ended with a 2:2 draw. Malta was an opponent of She-Dragons in the previous qualifiers too, and then our team recorded two victories (2:0 and 3:2).
