National team player Đula Velagić spoke about the preparations: "We’re working hard at the Training Camp, where we have excellent conditions. Besides training, the coach and his associates are analyzing our opponents and briefing us on their tactics. We already know Northern Ireland well since we've played against them before, but right now, our focus is on Romania. I believe we can achieve a positive result. It’ll be a tough match because Romania is a good team, but so are we. We’re all ready to prove that on the field. Whoever steps onto the pitch on Friday will give their absolute best, and when we’re at that level, we’re a threat to any opponent. I expect us to start this competition with a win in front of our fans, and I'd like to take this opportunity to invite them once again to support us, because with them, our goals become easier to reach."
