National team player Marija Aleksić expects our team to achieve a victory in the next match, which would bring our team a place in the play-offs:

“Preparations are going well. We have been in the camp for five days now, where we are training, analysing the opponent and preparing for the biggest match that women’s football in our country has ever had. We focus on us, to prepare as well as possible for the match. We expect victory in Azerbaijan, because we are complete and have a unique opportunity to qualify for the World Cup play-off. Together with the technical staff, we are doing everything to return from Baku as winners and to make the whole country happy.”

Minela Gačanica thinks similarly:

“For sure, we will have a difficult away game in Azerbaijan. We are aware of the weight and importance of the match ahead of us. Azerbaijan is a very difficult opponent, but I think that the quality is on our side. We train very well and prepare with a great atmosphere, both on and off the pitch. I believe in this team and that we will win three new points that would take us to the play-offs.”
