We played well, we are satisfied with the result

The women’s “A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina played tie 2:2 in the UEFA Nations League tonight in the Czech Republic.

The BH team had the advantage twice, but the home players managed to get back into the game both times.

Assistant coach Ivan Kvesić shared his view of the match with the Czech Republic:

“The match was tough, as we expected. However, we believed all time that we could make a positive result. Through training sessions, we corrected some mistakes we made before and I think we did everything necessary to play this match with such quality. We could have won all three points, but we are also satisfied with the achieved result.”

Both goals for the BH team was scored by Milena Nikolić, who said after the match:

“An expectedly difficult and uncertain match until the very end. There were a lot of good opportunities from our side as well as from their side. So, in the end, a draw is perhaps the most realistic outcome. The girls gave their best and I congratulate them for that. After four matches, we are still undefeated and these are the best performances of our national team so far in UEFA competitions.”

The second match of the group, in which Slovenia and Belarus drew 0:0 in Murska Sobota, has also ended. After two rounds in Group B4, Bosnia and Herzegovina has 8 points, Czech Republic 6, Slovenia 3, and Belarus 2.
