After the match, the head coach Samira Hurem said:
“First of all, I want to congratulate my players, they played an excellent match. In the first half, we showed that we were a team, that we had quality and character. We had a few good chances and I’m sorry we didn’t make a more convincing lead. These are young players and the red card disrupted everything. If it hadn’t happened, I’m sure we would have won three points. However, we played very well even with ten players, we fought. This team deserves support and I thank everyone who was with us.”
Captain Milena Nikolić thinks similarly:
“We made a good result and the girls showed how to fight for this coat of arms and this country. We have a very young team, but great potential, and this team showed that on the pitch today. Unfortunately, the red card at the opening of the second half disrupted us. If we had been complete until the end of the match, we would have won for sure, because we dominated during the first half. We had a lot of chances that we didn’t take. But we are satisfied, we gave our best and I am sure that with this young team we will do good things in the future.”
