The questions of the journalists were answered by the head coach Samir Hurem and the team members Milena Nikolić and Lidija Kuliš.
Hurem commented on the previous match with Wales in which the BH team was defeated with 1:0:
“Our goal was to win three points against Wales, and then even the mood in the team would be even better. We gave it as much as we could, but unfortunately it was not enough. We miss some standard players. In the first half we may have had more game than Wales, but in the end we were defeated. Physical disadvantages of our team, comparing to our opponents, were also obvious.”
The head coach says on tomorrow’s match:
“We can hardly wait for the match with Kazakhstan in which we want to score points and the players will provide their maximum on the pitch. Lidija Kuliš and Milena Nikolić have problems with injuries, but they are important team members, and we hope that they will prevail against Kazakhstan. We want to reach points before our audience.”
The captain Milena Nikolić expects a victory:
“Regarding the match with Wales, we were match them well in the first half and we also had better chances that we did not use. In the second half, the host played a high pressing and had the initiative. We also defended a penalty kick, but after that we did not manage to rise ourselves to a higher level and we were defeated. Tomorrow we are expecting a new match. We worked well and prepared for Kazakhstan. We have a better team, but this is the end of the season and there is a fatigue with players. Regardless of this, we will give our maximum and I expect to win.”
Lidija Kuliš believes that the BH national team has talented young footballers:
“We miss a few standard players, but there are some new and younger ones that are really great. They have the opportunity to prove themselves in such matches and to play with us, the older players, which will help us in the next qualifications too. I believe we will win three points in tomorrow’s match.”
