The first chance for the home team came in 5'. After a corner from Nina Brnić on the right, Marija Ana Milinković rose highest but headed wide. In 9', Marija Aleksić fired over from about 20 meters. The visitors responded in 19' when Anastasiya Shlapakova shot from a tight angle on the right, just wide of the far post. Captain Milena Nikolić struck well from distance, but goalkeeper Marya Svidunovich tipped it out for a corner. Belarus took the lead in 36' - after a cross from the right, Viktoriya Valiuk’s first shot hit keeper Položen, but she buried the rebound for 0:1.
In 50', Sofija Krajšumović hit the post from the right, and Nikolić pounced on the rebound to score, but the goal was disallowed for offside. The visitors doubled their lead in 59' after a counterattack finished precisely by Shlapakova. Bosnia and Herzegovina pulled one back in 79' when Milena Nikolić headed in a cross from Andrea Čule on the right. The team had more chances in the second half, the best coming in stoppage time when Nikolić’s shot from close range was saved by Svidunovich.
