On the road to the final, the Mostar side eliminated Libero and Leotar, while the team from Sarajevo beat Radnik Bumerang and Iskra.
Emina's head coach, Zijo Tojaga, said ahead of the final: “A great final is ahead of us and I believe all football fans rightly expect a top-level match. The two strongest teams in the league made it to the final and the audience are in for a real football spectacle. SFK 2000 Sarajevo are a team with vast experience, numerous trophies, and a tradition that rightfully places them as favorites. We respect them fully, but at the same time we believe in our team, our work, and the character of these girls who’ve shown they can play at the highest level. It’ll be a tough match, but we’ll give our best to play to our maximum and try to surprise the favorite.”
Samira Hurem, head coach of SFK 2000, emphasized that her team is ready: “The Cup final is always a special match – there’s no second chance and everything’s decided in those 90 minutes. We expect a good duel with Emina, they’ve shown quality throughout the season, they’re surely coming fully motivated and deserve great respect, but we know who we are: SFK 2000, a club that’s been setting standards in women’s football in BiH for years. We’re ready, we’ve trained well and we know what we want. Our goal is clear – to bring the trophy to our fans and the club that deserves it. The girls are focused, the atmosphere in the team is excellent and I believe we’ll step onto the field with the right mindset and energy.”
The match will be officiated by Nejra Halać (Zenica), assisted by Laura Dugandžić (Čitluk) and Nejra Trklja (Sarajevo). The fourth official will be Milana Marković (Milići), match delegate is Branka Jovanović (Bijeljina), and referee observer Ivana Vlaić (Sarajevo).
