The referees’ seminar was held on August 22 and 23, 2025 at the FFBiH Training Center in Zenica, while the seminar for delegates took place August 26 at FFBiH headquarters in Sarajevo.
During the seminar, referees took written and video tests on the Laws of the Game and participated in lectures and analyses covering the 2025 amendments to the Laws, handball interpretation, decisions in the penalty area, and refereeing analysis from Premier Women’s League and WU-16 development tournament matches. On the second day, referees also completed the FIFA fitness test at Kamberović Polje stadium.
Delegates, through lectures and interactive discussions, covered topics related to their rights and responsibilities at football games, conducting official meetings/briefings, performance evaluation criteria, and took a written test on regulations.
The seminar also introduced the UEFA SES project “For Fair Play on All Fields,” aimed at protecting against and preventing all forms of discrimination against referees, female referees, and staff. The project is carried out in cooperation with FFBiH’s legal and refereeing departments.
With these seminars, the FFBiH continues efforts to raise the quality of refereeing and competition organization in women’s football through professional training of referees and delegates in line with the highest standards.
