The first half was dynamic with a good pace, and the first serious attempt to threaten the opponent’s goal came in the 25th minute when Emilia Halilhodžić shot brilliantly from distance, but Montenegro goalkeeper Senita Kalač managed to deflect the ball for a corner. The best chance was missed by Ana Jurić in the 39th minute, when after a pass from Tamara Vukelić, her shot from the right side hit the crossbar.
In the second half, the BiH team had complete control, and in the 57th minute, Marija Mihaela Maslać took a free kick from about 25 meters on the right and scored for 1:0.
Uma Hadžihajdarević sent the ball over the bar from distance in the 60th minute, while Marija Maksimović's shot in the 63rd was deflected by the Montenegro goalkeeper for a corner. Maslać took the corner, and Maksimović doubled Bosnia and Herzegovina’s lead with a header.
Chances followed for Emma Dervišević and Uma Hadžihajdarević, but the score didn’t change. In the 88th minute, during one attack, Hadžihajdarević, Novaković, and Mušić all took shots from favorable positions, but Montenegro’s substitute goalkeeper Teodora Jovetić made excellent saves in all three cases.
The final score (3:0) was set by Hadžihajdarević in the 90th minute with a fantastic free-kick from the right side, hitting the opposite corner of the opponent’s goal.
After the game, head coach Ivan Kvesić said: "After this great 3:0 win, I’m proud of these players and the coaching staff. We played better than in the first match, and I’m glad we gave all players a chance and saw what we have at our disposal. We successfully identified the mistakes from the first match and corrected them. This will serve as good preparation for the tough and demanding upcoming qualifiers."
The first match between these teams, played two days ago, ended in a 2:1 victory for our team.
