BiH WU-17 Team Beats Georgia

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s women’s national under-17 football team defeated Georgia 2:1 today in Almaty (Kazakhstan), in Round 3 of Group B3 in the first stage of Euro qualifiers.

Anano Tsikaridze gave Georgia the lead in 35', but just a minute later our Matea Marić equalized. The winning goal for Bosnia and Herzegovina was scored by Marija Maksimović in 76'.

In the other group match, Latvia beat Kazakhstan 1:0. Bosnia and Herzegovina finished third in the group with 4 points, the same as second-placed Kazakhstan. Latvia topped the group with 6, while Georgia finished fourth with 3.
