BiH WU-19 Team Defeated by Wales

The Bosnia and Herzegovina women’s national under-19 football team lost 1:2 to Wales today in Ugljevik, in the third Group B3 game of the first round of Euro 2025 qualifiers.
 
 
The Welsh team took the lead in the 1st minute when Olivia Francis intercepted a pass from one of our defenders, broke free, and scored past goalkeeper Amila Delić. In the 15th minute, Francis sent a long ball from their half to Charlotte Lee, who entered the penalty area and doubled Wales’ lead.
 
In the 55th minute, Nina Brnić delivered a brilliant pass from the defensive zone to the opponent's box, where Nina Garibija controlled it well and scored with a precise long-range shot to make it 1:2.
 
BiH lineup: Amila Delić, Samra Muhić, Dalal Bratović, Nina Brnić, Bogdana Milićević, Amila Abdukić (85’ Sajra Bajrić), Natalija Mirković, Nina Garibija, Tasneem Dizdarević, Lorena Terzić, and Irina Erkić (81’ Alma Babović). 
In the other group match, Georgia defeated Lithuania 4:0 in Stanišići.
 
Bosnia and Herzegovina finished the first qualification round in third place in the group with 3 points, behind Wales (9) and Georgia (6), but ahead of Lithuania (0).
