Female juniors defeated by Greece

The U-19 national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina ended the qualifying tournament of Group A6 in Italy with a defeat, and as the last ranked team in the group, the next qualification will begin in the League B.

Today in Novara, the BH female juniors were defeated by their peers from Greece with a score of 0:4.

Our women’s national team started the match badly and already in the 6th and 7th minute, the Greek women scored goals for 0:2. Iman Dumanjić’s goal was scored by Stamatia Ntarzanou and Vasiliki Giannaka. Ntarzanou scored another goal in the 24th minute, and the Greek national team went into the first half with a three-goal advantage.

In the second period of the game, Mae Helena Goulden scored another goal for Greece in the 66th minute and set the final result of the match.

The second match of the group ended with the victory of Austria over Italy with a score of 2:1.

Austria took first place in the group and qualified for the European Championship with 9 points. Italy is second with 6, Greece is third with 3, while Bosnia and Herzegovina finished the main qualifying round without points.
