The players who played against the Czech Republic in Ethno Village Stanišići yesterday, made a recovery training session, while the players who were not fielded worked with full intensity.
The assistant coach of the BH U-19 team, Samir Vrban, is pleased with the players’ efforts in yesterday’s match:
“The girls gave their maximum, but after a game break, we received a goal that disrupted the game’s conception. Regardless of the result, we can be satisfied with the players’ efforts. They were exhausted a lot yesterday and we will try to recover them and prepare for a match with Norway that is very high quality. We will look for a chance from the semi-counterattack to endanger them and try to get a positive result.”
The wing attacker Minela Gačanica points out that the match with the Czech Republic was demanding:
“It was a tough, but high-quality match. We knew that the Czech Republic had a good team. In the first half we played very well and had an active result. In the second period of the game, we fell and it was obvious that the opponent was physically more fit than us. We will try to play even better in the next match. Although Norway is a favourite in the group, we will do our best and fight until the last minute of the match.”
The team player Andrea Gavrić hopes for a better result against favoured Norway:
“We fought yesterday, but unfortunately we did not achieve a positive result. Maybe we received a goal a little unhappily, but it could be better. We really gave our utmost and I hope that we will continue as well. It is certain that we want to win in the next match, but it will be difficult, because Norway has a great team, probably the best in the group. We do not have a choice and we have to play the best quality we know and hope that this time will bring us a better result.”
