The Football Association of Serbia (FSS) representatives, youth football director Savo Milosevic, his associate Mitar Mrkela and Igor Miklja visited FFBIH today where they met with general secretary Jasmin Bakovic, technical department director Denijal Piric, and youth football coordinator Murat Jaha about the upcoming Friendship tournament which will be held in Bijeljina next month.
Piric: "I'm glad we've welcomed our friends from the FSS today and we want to support them in their efforts to organize a tournament for children, which is a beautiful and positive story. First of all, we want those boys to spend time together but also to see in action some players who compete for our national youth teams. Strong teams will compete at this tournament, and all who choose to watch the game will certainly have a lot to see."
Milosevic: "This tournament represents a fine example of how to make a pleasant and healthy story in a good way. Through this event we'll give away countless positive messages, which is the point of football and sport in general."
Miklja: "We expect to bring the tournament to a higher level compared to the previous two years. TV Sport Klub 1 will broadcast five games each day. In addition to UEFA and regional football federations, UNICEF will support the tournament as well this year."
Mrkela: "For the past two years, since we began organizing the tournament, we're trying to promote football and other values such as friendship and mutual respect. We'll keep on cherishing these values in the future through this event."
Sixteen (16) teams will participate in this tournament which is supposed to be held from 23rd to 29th of May in Bijeljina.
