Bosnia and Herzegovina's futsal team has lost the match against Russia today with 1:2 in the third and final round of the Euro Futsal Championship qualifications which was held in Sarajevo.

"I think we played exceptionally well against one of the best futsal teams in the world. We needed a little more luck to play a draw, however we missed few good opportunities and Russia punished our mistakes. Players lost their concentration after we evened the score, and that cost us in the final seconds of the match. I'm satisfied with how boys played out this tournament," said coach Boro Matan after the match.

In the second match today, Netherlands and Latvia played a draw, 3:3. Russia finished first with 9 points and advances directly to Euro, followed by our team with 6 points which grants us the play-offs. Netherlands and Latvia had only one point each in the end.
