Good Governance Project Entering Final Phase

Category: News

The project titled "Development and Strengthening of the Quality Management System in Business Processes," implemented by the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina since mid-2024, is entering its final phase.

The activities covered by this project represent a continuation of previously successful good governance initiatives and are being carried out under UEFA's regular monitoring as part of the HatTrick support program for national associations.

The key objective guiding both completed and upcoming activities has been the establishment of a stable and reliable quality management system aimed at optimizing business and sporting performance.

The project was designed around 10 key business processes and focuses on the continuous improvement of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina administration across various areas of operational activity.

Implementation of the planned project activities has been carried out in accordance with the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Strategic Plan and the project's operational timeline, while certain activities have been adjusted to align with the organization's primary tasks and events, particularly preparations for the national "A" team's participation in the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

"Through the good governance project, the General Secretariat fulfills its statutory function and contributes at full capacity to the implementation of a large number of complex tasks and the consistent achievement of defined objectives. We are grateful to UEFA for its maximum understanding and support in implementing the project," said FFBiH General Secretary Adnan Džemidžić.

During the previous period, internal regulatory acts important for the efficient operation of the administration were adopted, while all General Secretariat activities, including improvements in good governance, are regularly monitored and approved through appropriate decisions by the Executive Board and General Assembly.

Given that implementation of the project is scheduled to be completed in July of this year, a new project has also been planned with the aim of maintaining a high standard of good governance.
