The Grassroots program implies football for all, regardless of gender, race, religion, or national affiliation, and FFBiH annually organizes activities across Bosnia and Herzegovina with a focus on grassroots football.
Two days ago, a tournament for girls under 14 was held in Čitluk, while today’s event in Fojnica allowed girls, boys, visually and hearing-impaired individuals, and people with intellectual disabilities to have fun through play and various football activities. These events were organized in collaboration with ŽNK Brotnjo and FK Fojnica.
FFBiH Grassroots Manager Bojan Aćimović said: “Just like last year, we continue these wonderful events where participants have the opportunity to enjoy their favorite game – football. It’s important to emphasize that the Grassroots program promotes inclusion and equality, allowing everyone, regardless of their abilities or background, to be part of the football community. This is an opportunity to show that football can truly be a game for everyone and that together, we’re building a healthier and happier world through sport.”
FFBiH will also organize grassroots events this year in Domanovići, Trebinje, Banja Luka, Prijedor, and Cazin.
