After the events in Zenica, Derventa and East Sarajevo, events for the youngest ages were held in Mostar, Bugojno and Trebinje.
On Thursday, a tournament for girls was held at the Kantarevac playground in Mostar. The result was not in the foreground, but the fun was as shown by the smiles on the faces of all the participants of this event.
There was also good fun in Bugojno, where a festival was held in cooperation with the initiative “Football Together” and the local Taekwondo club “Shenron”. The event was organized in the form of a “Mini Van Tour”, a unique activity that combines learning, socializing and fun through inclusive sports activities. The little ones had fun with street kick, micro soccer, taekwondo station, fair-play workshops and accompanying educational, musical and entertainment activities.
A women’s football festival was organized in Trebinje on Friday with the support of ŽFK Leotar from this city, which gathered around 50 girls from Trebinje primary schools. The girls had the opportunity to learn the basics of football technique in an interesting and accessible way, with the supervision and demonstration of male and female football coaches. The girls showed their skills with a football on four “fields”, after which a mini-tournament was played between four teams, and the result was of course secondary.
The Grassroots Program includes football for everyone, regardless of gender, race, religion and nationality, and this year the BH FF proudly participated in the celebration of UEFA Grassroots Week.
