Meeting on the topic “Football and Refugees on the Balkan Route”

Today, the general secretary Adnan Džemidžić and the senior expert associate for football development Dženan Đipa had a meeting with Dr Rahela Jurković, a scientist in the field of cultural anthropology, at the premises of the FF BH in Sarajevo.

On behalf of UEFA, Dr Jurković is exploring the “Football and Refugees on the Balkan Route” project and the main topic of today’s meeting was the inclusion of refugees in BH football.

The representatives of the Federation presented the FF BH “Social Integration Through Football” project, which involves bringing refugees closer to local communities and facilitating their integration into society through football.

In addition to Bosnia and Herzegovina, this UEFA research covers Croatia, Serbia, Northern Macedonia and Greece.
