As part of the UEFA Grassroots Week, an event was held at the FF BH Training Centre in Zenica today, attended by a large number of girls and boys from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Jasmin Baković, the FF BH general secretary, opened the event with a special speech, saying among other things: “Your presence is proof that football is the most important thing and that the ball is the most universal toy that connects us much more solid than all other things that divide us.”
Baković also stated: “This is a regular event that FF BH organizes in cooperation with UEFA each year, which promotes grassroots football in order to affirm this beautiful sport. Today, there are a large number of boys and girls from all over BH and this is a great day for our Federation and football. This shows that we are a socially responsible organization, but also that football is a universal sport for both girls and boys.”
A coach in OFK Bihać and a former member of the U-19 team’s technical staff, Ahmet Kečalović, also has positive impressions from today’s event: “This is a wonderful event organized by the FF BH. Our children are very pleased that they are here and have the opportunity to socialize with peers from other clubs from all over our country. We are glad to present here our club and the city of Bihać.”
