The event was opened with an appropriate speech of the FF BH General Secretary, Adnan Džemidžić.
“I am really pleased that we are holding this event in Zenica. In addition to many commitments, I must point out that I haven’t had a better day for a long time and I wish you to feel at your Training Centre as at your home, because you are always welcome here. I wish you to have a nice time here and feel comfortable and I wish you all the best”, Džemidžić said at the opening.
Boys and girls from 6 orphanages in Bosnia and Herzegovina participate in this year’s Orphan’s Cup: the KJU Children’s Home Bjelave - Sarajevo, the Zenica Family Home, the Children’s Home “Egyptian Village” - Mostar, the Tuzla Children’s Home, the Home “Rada Vranješević” - Banja Luka and the SOS Children’s Village Gračanica.

As part of today’s program, girls and boys have had fun playing foot-tennis and have also shown enviable football skills.
Indira Alispahić, the SOS mom from the Children’s Village of Gračanica brings positive impressions from the Orphan’s Cup: “We were very satisfied when we received an invitation from the FF BH to come to this event. We have a great time here and the children are delighted to have the opportunity to socialize with peers from other homes. The atmosphere is wonderful, the hosts are pleasant and it’s really wonderful to be here today.”
The founder of the Atletico 1919 Academy from Orašje, Omer Nurkić, stated: “We are for the third time on this event. We are proud and happy to work with the FF BH on such projects. We gladly respond to calls when dealing with the youngest. We are trying to bring our knowledge to the field and make these children a beautiful and fun day.”
The Orphan’s Cup ends tomorrow.
