The first gathering was held for the U-15 North and South teams, and young players from these regions gathered in Zenica, at the BH FF Training Centre, on 15.05.2023.

Next day, on 16.05.2023, the U-13 team of the Centre region gathered at the Sports and Recreational Centre “Safet Zajko” in Sarajevo. On the same day, the gathering of the U-13 South team at the Rođeni Stadium in Mostar was planned, but it was postponed due to bad weather conditions.

A gathering of the U-13 team of the Western region is scheduled for tomorrow, which will be held in Krupa, and in the following period, the camp of the U-13 North team will also be held.

The BH FF senior professional associate for the development of women’s, Ivana Vlaić, says about selective gatherings:

“These camps are an opportunity for young female football players to show their skills and talent, and to apply for a place in the youth national teams. Selective gatherings for girls in these age categories are of great importance for the development of women’s football in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Discovering and supporting talented young players are key factors in creating quality national teams that will represent our country at the international level in the future.”

Coaches from the BH clubs worked with the players at the camps, with the support of the head coaches of the “A”, U-19 and U-17 women’s national teams, Samira Hurem, Dragan Jevtić and Ilija Lucić, who were satisfied with the potential shown by the young female footballers.
