The “Girls Football Coaching Course” project involves the education of female coaches, as well as the development of grassroots football for girls aged 7 to 12 years.

Hans Finstad, Special Adviser in FA of Norway, said:

“Today we started with the first course for female coaches, and we will have a total of five. Our goal is to educate and motivate female coaches in Bosnia and Herzegovina to work with younger ages and promote women’s football. After completion of the course, they will have a task of starting sections in their local communities and working with the youngest female footballers.”

The seminar started today in Training center in Zenica and it will last for 4 days, and the students will, in addition to practical work with children, attend lectures on the following topics: “Children’s football”, “Organization of Training sessions”, “Role of coaches”.
