Over 500 boys and girls participated in Grassroots Day event today in Mostar. The event was opened by FFBIH youth football coordinator Murat Jaha who said: "FFBIH once again organized UEFA Grassroots Day event in order to contribute to BIH football development. About five hundred boys and girls have a chance to have fun together and play football."
SF Ping coach Sabina Pekic from Jablanica: "This event is great for sports in Bosnia and Herzegovina and for children to play together."
"This is the first time I came to this event, and it's very exciting. I met some new, fun friends here", are 12 year old Andjela Milicevic's impressions, who plays in ZNFK Mostar.
HSK Zrinjski's 10 year old player Ilija Bogdan has a similar opinion: "It's a great opportunity to socialize and meet new people. I'm glad we have this in Bosnia and Herzegovina."
The main philosophy of this programe is to open the doors to football for everyone, regardless of their sex, race, abilities, nationality and religion.
