The event brought together girls from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, giving them a unique opportunity to build new friendships, improve their skills, and create lasting memories through sports, fun, and education.
At the festival’s opening, FFBiH general secretary Adnan Džemidžić welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of sports as a tool for promoting equality, inclusion, and youth empowerment, especially for young girls.
FFBiH women’s football development senior associate Ivana Vlaić spoke about the festival’s goals: “This event promoted unity, respect, and human rights through sports. It wasn’t a competition but was instead aimed at empowering young girls, promoting equality, and creating new opportunities for them. Through professional football training, educational workshops, and creative activities, the girls had the chance to develop their skills, gain new knowledge, and boost their confidence. We’re delighted that participants from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro enjoyed their favorite sport and formed new friendships and unforgettable experiences through play and socializing. We’re certain they leave the festival enriched with new knowledge, values, and memories that will stay with them for life.”
The festival featured professional football training sessions, a friendly tournament, educational workshops on teamwork, equality, and confidence-building, as well as various creative and fun activities.
