The team from Čitluk won 19 points this autumn (6 wins, 1 draw, 4 losses, a goal difference 59:54). With 59 scored goals, Brotnjo, with the leader on the table, Mostar SG Staklorad, is the most efficient team of the championship.
Matej Čilić, a head of the Čitluk technical staff, says about the performances of his team: “We are satisfied with the results in the first part of the championship. At the beginning, we had a lot of problems, because we had a lot of changes in the squad, and we started late with preparations too. These are certainly the reasons why we badly entered the championship and why were not at the desired level for the first four rounds. However, as the competition continued, we played better and in the end we could be satisfied with the third position.”
The team is already preparing for the continuation of the competition.
“We started preparations on 10th January, and since then we have not interrupted our work. On the occasion of the tenth anniversary celebration of the MNK Brotnjo founding, we organized a quality tournament, where we had the teams from Croatia as our opponents. We were then convinced that we could deal with teams from the top of their championship and that we had a quality. We will be ready for the spring part of the competition”, says Čilić and adds:
“We would like to continue with good games. I am sure that we could be among four best teams in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Brotnjo deserves it by its reputation. Except for one season in which we fought for survival, we were always on the top of the BH futsal and we want to continue that way.”
Marko Grgić and Luka Suton are the best scorers of Brotnjo this autumn with 14 scored goals. Then follow Vedran Marić (11 goals), Franjo Delić and Kristijan Pantić (5), Marin Šunjić (4), Ivan Marković (3), Tomislav Bošnjak, Silvio Dujmović and Ivan Šutalo (1).
