Savo Kosorić, a long-time sports official, passed away at the age of 83 yesterday in Sarajevo.
Born on February 18, 1942, in Sokolac, he worked in various sports organizations, and until 1992, served as the General Secretary of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was then part of the FSJ (Football Association of Yugoslavia). He was also the General Secretary of the FFBiH from August 1992 to 1994.
Kosorić actively rejoined FFBiH in 2000, where he performed various tasks in the Competitions Department, diligently working until his retirement in 2012.
He was known for his kindness, warmth, and professionalism, always willing to share his extensive knowledge and experience with younger colleagues.
