The first man of the FF BH, Vico Zeljković, used his stay in Switzerland for a short meeting and conversation with the FIFA President, Gianni Infantino. The topic was the introduction of VAR technology in domestic competition.

“VAR is a challenge towards which everything is directed”, says Zeljković and continues, “and in this segment we will have the full support of FIFA. I will remind you of the statement of FIFA President Infantino, ‘VAR does not change football, VAR cleans football’. This is a complex job and we are determined to implement it to the end, in order to improve the refereeing and minimize referees’ errors.”

We will start the implementation of this extensive project this summer, and we expect that, from the 2022/2023 season, the FF BH will be ready for the introduction of VAR system.

The UEFA Congress is underway, which also includes the FF BH delegation.
