BIH's national football team has been defeated tonight by Israel in a qualifying match with result of 3:0. The match was played at the Sammy Ofer stadium in Haifa.
Our team had a few chances to score the goal in the first half time, but Pjanic, Hajrovic, Lulic and Medunjanin's shots on the goal weren't accurate. Israel took the lead in 36' via Gil Vermouth, and later upped to 2:0 via Omer Damari in 45'.
In the second half time Toni Sunjic (BIH) got the red card, and Israel increased the result to 3:0 via Eran Zahavi (70').
At the post-match press conference coach Safet Susic said: "I congratulate Israel on this victory, they were more motivated and that's it. We thought we were technically superior, but they outplayed us even in that aspect."
When asked if he would quit as a coach he responded: "You will find out that soon. I was one of the most popular people after a placement at the World Cup, and now I'm certainly one of the most hated out there."
Our team will resume with the qualifying round on March 28th 2015 against Andorra.
