Bosnia and Herzegovina Under-16 national football team won the first semi-finals game of the Josip Katalinski Skija cadet memorial tournament against City of Belgrade 7-6 at the FFBIH training center in Zenica today. Since there was no goals during the regular time, penalty shootout determined the winner.

Martinović, Imamović, Duraković, Nuhanović, Dervišagić, Lukovac and Behram brought victory to our team, while Kojić, Torbica, Marković, Nović, Stojanović and Šehović scored the goals for Belgrade.

After the match coach Sakib Malkočević said: "Every beginning is difficult, and so is this one. Today's match was the first for this new team, so it's understandable they were nervous. I'm glad we won in the end. The previous generation also had a tough start however they succeeded later. Still, there's a lot of work ahead for these guys, but we have enough time until qualifications to shape up this team."

Captain Ahmed Hasanović: "I congratulate my teammates on this victory. Also I'd like to thank our friends from Belgrade for coming here and contributing to this tournament. The match was hard, but the luck was on our side and I'm happy for winning."
