Bosnia and Herzegovina U-19 national football team won the first European Championship qualifying match against Turkey 2-1 today in Baku.

Coach Toni Karacic: "The match was good, the result of 2-1 in our favor was deserved. We lacked initiative and pressure in the beginning, and because of that Turkey scored first. Shorty after that, we started to play better and created several good opportunities. Our boys managed to come back in the second half after one of the opposing players was sent off, and by the end of the match we scored two goals and achieved a victory. Congratulations to all the players on a great game and for beating very good and respectable team."
