Yesterday, the BH U-19 team was defeated by France with 1:2 in qualifying match for the European U-19 Championship.

Despite the negative result, the general impression is that the team showed a good game and earned a better result, as confirmed by the assistant coach of our U-19 team, Ahmet Kečalović:

“We scouted our opponents well and we set up the team in an adequate way. The guys entered the game a little cowardly, but afterwards they showed a character, wish, desire and a good quality game. We created many opportunities that we did not use. We were close to a good result.”

Kečalović thinks this generation is talented:

“This team is very promising and quality. In addition, they are good and responsible guys. They perform all the tasks we put before them seriously and in the right way. I believe that brilliant careers are before them.”

Ahmet Kečalović expects three points in the last round:

“I'm sure that the guys will show quality against Andorra, that they will win and qualify to the elite round. We are definitely a better team and we have to show it on Tuesday.”
