The Trebinje team achieved 3 wins, 1 draw and 7 defeats with a goal difference of 24:34. Although after the semi-season Leotar is in the second place, it has the second best defence of the league with 34 goals received. Only a leader at the table, Mostar SG Staklorad received less number of goals.
The head coach Dragan Spaić expects his team to stay in the league:
“In the first part of the season, we were down in the result. The backlog for the teams that are ahead of us is not great, and we have a good match schedule in the spring, so we will play 6 matches in front of our fans. In this regard, I think we can survive in the league, because we have a quality.”
The head coach of the Trebinje team believes that it will be stronger in the spring:
“The preparations are in full swing; the players work very seriously and will be ready to continue the championship. We brought two new players, Micić and a goalkeeper Jovanović, and we joined two young players to the first team. I believe that we have increased the quality of the team.”
Spaić is optimistic before the match of the PFL 12th round with Centar in Trebinje on Saturday, 17.02.2017 at 19:00 h:
“In the first round of this weekend, we welcome Centar. They are a strong team, but we also have quality and I expect to win. We must immediately start with good results, if we would like to compete in the Premier Futsal League also the next season.”
The best goal scorers of Leotar in the previous part of the competition are Duje Nevistić and Miljan Vico with 4 goals scored. Emir Milanović and Lazar Zečević scored 3, Predrag Šešelj, Savo Andrić and Nemanja Čečur 2, while Emrah Sarić and Nemanja Vujović scored 1 goal.
