Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, along with BH Telecom Premier League clubs, have started the UN Women's campaign which aims to fight the gender-based violence, and raise public awareness of the frequent violence against women and girls. As a part of FFBIH's contribution to this cause, all players and referees sent a clear message: "Stop violence against women!" before each Round 18 match this weekend.
Besides the banners against violence, all games began with a one-minute moment of silence to honor the players, members of the coaching staff and delegation of Brazilian football club Chapecoense de Futebol who were killed in a tragic plane crash.
