The BH national team members have been preparing for matches with the USA and Mexico in Zenica. The name of Stjepan Lončar, the young player of Široki Brijeg, is also on the list of the head coach Robert Prosinečki.

“I have to admit that it is a wonderful feeling and a great honour to be on the list of the “A” national team. After the U-21 team, this is a great recognition for my work and efforts. Now I need to justify the invitation, but I believe in my capabilities as well as of other players who are here. We will show that you can count on us”, says Lončar and adds:

“We have to prepare well in this period in Zenica. We are facing a difficult journey, and that’s why we need to be as more ready as possible. We will play high quality matches, with strong teams. Nobody is invincible and I hope for positive results.”

Lončar also commented on the performances of his team in the BH Telecom Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina:

“We started well in the championship, but in the final stage there were some injuries of important players, which had a negative impact on the results. Now we will try to get better as much as possible for the second part of the championship. Our goal is to qualify to one of the European clubs competitions, and we are in the game for the title too.”
